Stacy Wigington, DVM- Practice Owner

I am a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University.  After graduation, I was selected for a large animal medicine and surgery internship at Texas A&M University.  This opportunity brought me to Texas, and I have been here ever since!  After my intership, I practiced in mixed animal clinics, large animal clinics and an emergency medical clinic. 

I bought Lovan Care Animal Clinic in 2005, and it has been a wonderful experience being practice owner.  Lovan Care Animal Clinic is undergoing some exciting changes to meet all of your companion animal and equine mobile needs.  We like to integrate high quality medicine at an affordable price.  Preventative medicine is the key to long and healthy relationships with our pets; we look forward to providing you with this service and information for you and your companions.

I am a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M, receiving my Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Science.  After graduation, I completed an internship at a thoroughbred breeding and foaling farm in Lexington, KY.  I began work with small animals in May 2005 and started at Lovan Care Animal Clinic as a veterinary technician in January 2006.  I am married, and I have two shelter rescue dogs- Iris and Monkey.  In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and snowboarding.  I am currently working towards my certification in Veterinary Business Management.  I look forward to meeting you and your pets and fulfilling all your expectations for their care!

I recently graduated from Texas A&M in May 2009 with a major in Biomedical Science and a minor in Business.  I have worked at LCAC since 2008, where I started out as a veterinary technician and have been promoted to Assistant Clinic Manager. 

My hometown is Alvin, TX; I love working with animals and I have a welsh corgi named Bandit (who is my sidekick).

 I am a senior at Texas A&M University working towards my degree in Biomedical Science.  After graduation, I hope to attend vet school at A&M.  I have worked at LCAC since May 2008; I started off as a boarding technician and am thrilled now to be a veterinary technician.  I have two adorable dogs- Wesley, a Havanese and Tippy, a Pomeranian.

Wendy H. - Veterinary Technician

I am originally from Tyler, Tx and have lived in College Station since January 2004.  I am working full time at LCAC and saving up to finish college.  I have an adorable 7 year old chihuahua named Swade.  I love fast cars, going to drag races, reading, knitting, and spending time with friends and family.

Courtney R. - Veterinary Technician

Hi! My name is Courtney.  I've been working at LCAC since the new year, and I absolutely love it!  I left my clinic in Spring, TX after working there since I was 16 to further my education here in College Station.  i plan to obtain my RVT and then my Bachelor's in Veterinary Technology; hoping to one day manage a surgery unit or emergency clinic.  I have a 6 year old bay roan Quarter Horse named Cheyenne, and an 8 month old basenji named Howie.  They are my babies and my world.  I love working in a field where I can express my care and passion to all the pets as if they were my own.

Chelsea H. - Boarding and Doggy Daycare Technician

Howdy! My name is Chelsea, from Arlington, TX.  I have been a part of the LC team since July 2008 as a boarding technician...with the hopes of becoming a veterinary technician.  I am majoring in Animal Science- class of 2012!  After I receive my bachelors, I have high hopes of attending vet school at TAMU.  I have two crazy pups of my own- Camo (an energetic and playful aussie mix adopted from an animal shelter in Oklahoma) and Kloey (a fun loving and mellow dachshund mix adopted from a foster home in Arlington).

 Kara O. - Lead Boarding and Doggy Daycare Technician

Howdy!  I am the lead boarding technician at LCAC.  I have worked in the boarding facility since Aug 2008.  Originally, I am from Carrollton, Tx, but now I attend TAMU.  I am a senior business major and I will be graduating this May!  I have an orange tabby cat a home, named Lucy, and I hope to adopt a puppy after I graduate.  I am really looking forward to meeting and playing with your pets at LCAC!

Tiffanie F. - Boarding and Doggy Daycare Technician

Howdy!  My name is Tiffanie and I am from Humble, Texas.  I started working at LCAC as a boarding technician in December 2008.  I have one crazy, loveable chihuahua mix named Chloe! She is just over a year old and full of energy, so there is never a dull moment with her around!  I have always had a passion for animals growing up, and I knew I wanted to have a career working with them.  My dream is to be an animal trainer and eventually open my own boarding kennel.

My name is Christina and I am currently a student at Blinn College.  I plan on transferring to A&M next year where I will be majoring in business.  My entire life so far has always had animals in it and I want to make them my career.  I would like to open my own own business rescuing animals and finding them a good home.  I love all animals, they are my life!!!
